Well in my presentation I wanted to show that the way of teaching had it effectiveness in its simplicity in early teaching environments, but with the demands on such a system quickly changing, and with no serious restructure created an obsolete teaching environment with inherent problems. Well in my project I wanted to show that technology being used effectively to solve these problems of this obsolete system essentially return it to the easy effectiveness it had in the past without putting any extemporaneous effort on the educator or its teaching institution. The techniques that I found seem to be easy no-brainers that can be easily integrated to learning environments.
Now throughout project I showed people educating using technology and techniques that augmented teaching and methods that were already in place .I Also used examples of new teaching concepts being implemented online. In the case of Bill and Pamela Havice two educators and education researchers who seamlessly integrate technology into their classes. They also use flipping the classroom techniques in their educating models Thus using technology in the reinforcements of established methods already in place in education and creating a more engaging environment for students. The case of Salman Khan Who is basically built a school online, The Khan Academy, I found his approach to be more on the innovative side of technology ,using online videos and diagnostics to teach and ensure leaning. I used these examples to show that you can either incorporate the technology as a tool into education environment or can use the technology has a medium for a change in the way we look at the educating in the information age we live. this whole project and the different things I heard today really opened my eyes to what can be possible in education today. If only more educators can experience things of this nature maybe there would be more involvement in the development of classroom technology, or technological gains in teaching tools and their implementation.
